SBK01 Backup Boot Flash Kit

DediProg SBK01 Backup Boot Flash Kit

BBF-8W module + SF100 programmer

DediProg SBK01 backup boot flash kit with BBF-8W module and SF100 programmer

Description

Swap-in serial flash emulation for boards using an SO8W (207mil) flash

The SBK01 pairs an SF100 programmer with DediProg’s BBF-8W Backup Boot Flash module, giving engineers a swappable, known-good SPI flash they can drop onto a board in place of the soldered original. It connects by direct soldering with a test clip, an SMT 1.27mm header, or a 2.54mm connector, and runs transparently to the application while it automatically disables the main onboard flash — no rework needed to move between images. It’s the standard fix for booting a failing board or recovering corrupted BIOS/firmware without desoldering anything.

  • Three connection methods: test clip, SMT 1.27mm header, or 2.54mm connector
  • USB interface with built-in signal-conflict protection

Typical Applications

  • Booting a failing computer or embedded board for diagnosis
  • Recovering from a corrupted BIOS/firmware update
  • Rapid firmware image swaps during development, without repeated reflashing
