DediProg EM100Pro-G3 SPI NOR Flash Emulator
Replaces the EM100Pro-G2
Description
Real-time SPI NOR flash emulation for firmware and BIOS development
The EM100Pro-G3 emulates virtually any SPI NOR flash device on the market from a single interface, letting engineers update and test firmware without repeatedly reflashing or desoldering the target chip. It’s the direct successor to the EM100Pro-G2, with roughly double the code-update speed — a 1Gbit image that took 20 seconds on the G2 now takes about 10 seconds, which adds up fast over a full development cycle.
512Kbit–4Gbitcapacity range
1.8V / 3.3Voperating voltage
Up to 50MHzSingle/Dual/Quad IO
USB-Chost interface
Highlights
- Emulates all current and next-generation SPI NOR flash devices from major suppliers in one tool
- ~2x faster code-update and download performance versus the EM100Pro-G2
- Single, Dual, and Quad IO communication support
- Live memory content display and editing while the target is running
- Built-in SPI protocol analyzer with high-speed internal trace buffer
- Optional adaptor for Intel motherboard platforms
- USB 2.0 (Type-C) connection to host PC
Typical Applications
- BIOS/UEFI and embedded firmware development and debug
- Pre-silicon and pre-production validation without reprogramming physical flash
- SPI bus protocol analysis and troubleshooting
- Flash device qualification across multiple vendors/densities
