The Ixxat Sub-D9 connector with two CAN terminations ensures proper termination of CAN and CAN FD buses. It features a D-Sub 9 male to female gender changer design and is used when a CAN node lacks internal termination or if no CAN node is connected at the end of the CAN bus. Per ISO 11898-2, high-speed CAN systems require end resistors.
