Avi Cohen is an experienced technology leader with more than 30 years in building, growing, and managing regional operations for leading embedded software companies in both the United States and Israel. Over the course of his career, he has helped bring advanced embedded solutions to market and worked closely with some of the world’s most innovative technology companies.

Before founding Pertech Embedded Solutions, Avi established and led Green Hills Software Israel, where he introduced software platforms designed for industries that demand the highest levels of security and reliability.

In 1995, he launched Integrated Systems Israel and served as Managing Director, guiding the company through years of growth and culminating in its successful merger with Wind River Israel in 1999. Following the merger, Avi continued as Regional Manager until 2004, helping expand the company’s reach across multiple technology markets with solutions built on the VxWorks real-time operating system.

Earlier in his career, from 1992 to 1995, Avi was Regional Sales Manager for Integrated Systems Inc. in the Northeastern United States, where he worked closely with customers deploying pSOS-based embedded software platforms in a variety of applications.

Avi holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Boston University. His deep technical background, combined with decades of business leadership, continues to shape Pertech’s mission: connecting global innovation with the companies that build the future.
