The SF100 ISP Evaluation Kit is designed to enable and validate the In System Programming (ISP) method. It allows users to update SPI Flash memory directly on their application board without removing the chip.
When connected to an application board, the SF100 programmer takes control of the SPI bus. This allows it to efficiently read or update the content of the Serial Flash memory that is soldered onto the board.
The ISP-Eval-01 kit includes an SF100 programmer, an ISP Evaluation board, a 1.27mm 2*4 cable, SMT 1.27mm connectors, various resistors (100 Ohm, 47 Ohm, 0 Ohm), N MOSFETs, diodes, and cables with a test clip.
These components are included to facilitate safe SPI and Vcc isolation trials. They allow users to test and validate the ISP method under different electrical conditions, ensuring robust and reliable in-system programming.
