The EM100Pro-G2 significantly speeds up development by eliminating the need to remove, erase, program, and re-install SPI flash for each code change. It allows firmware code or data to be downloaded into the emulator in a few seconds, even for densities as large as 2Gb, enabling quick in-circuit firmware test cycles.
The EM100Pro-G2 is designed to emulate all market SPI NOR Flash devices, including next-generation ones, supporting densities up to 2Gbit. It supports Single IO, Dual IO, and Quad IO modes, and automatically switches between 3.3V and 1.8V according to IC voltage specifications.
The EM100Pro-G2 includes a "SPI BUS Analyzer" feature that collects all SPI commands and data on the SPI bus to aid the debugging process. It also provides extra debugging functions such as SPI bus trace and HyperTerminal, with a built-in 512MB buffer for storing trace logs.
